Posting shots we did a while back for VW. This was a memorable project for the dynamic results of the overall brochure. These two images brought to life concepts that could not be pulled off in photography due to budget restraints and parts availability.

Cooperfish Project

2010 Cooperfish Calendar Project: Gene Cooper and I have been friends for 20 years now. Last December he called me up and asked if I would shoot his 2010 surfing calendar. Absolutely was my response. Last night at 3am we finished the last press check. Party and release are next Saturday. Hope you can be there. The party is going to be INSANE, as Gene would say. And a special shout out to Eleven Inc, Paul Curtin and Kevin Brown for the killer design on the poster.
Green Pencil
Recently we worked with Boone Oakley to bring to life the new award that One Show will be awarding this year. We had to create the award from scratch. Using a prototype we were able to match the model perfectly and also execute the translucent green glass. This is the spread that will be running in the magazines.

Virtual Domes
Year 2047
This is a screen grab from a really exciting sci-fi series we are working on. This is a completely 3d scene built from the ground up of a futuristic flight deck. There are still a few more pieces to put together for this scene but check back soon to see the rest of the series!

ANIME MY WAY
Here’s a first peek at a new series I’m working on. I’ve been inspired by anime, Harajuku and so on. I worked with Trent Cotner an incredible body paint artist as well as professional makeup artist and the amazing Dana Bretz for hair and additional makeup. The wardrobe is clashing and crazy following suite with the Harajuku tradition. The first shoot day of this project was a blast for everone. And best of all we can’t wait to do it all over again and take the concept further. Final pics will be on my website in a couple weeks. *This pic is pretty much straight up. No retouching on skin, basic contrast adjust and that’s about it.

Six Million Dollar Man
This is a new piece we are working on with a photographer.

Bionic Arm
We are using this bionic arm and placing it on a model that was shot in a studio. Using an HDRI we will be able to make it look as if the model really had this arm surgically attached to his body.
Going Green
Time to get this blog started!
